Five Ways to Provoke Your Miracles!

One of my greatest discoveries in the Bible is that miracles don’t just happen, you must provoke it. Miracles do not drop on people’s laps, you must release a spiritual force that will drag it down from God’s bedroom! So, miracles are not accidental occurrences, they are the deliberate acts of God in response to the deliberate faith of men.

You don’t have to chase after miracles. Jesus said, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

He did not say you shall travel from city to city in search of miracles. Right where you are now, you can provoke your miracle without anyone praying for you.

A lady shared the following testimony last Saturday. She said that they (herself and another lady) met me after speaking somewhere in Lagos. Both were believing God for male children. I simply held their hands and told them to receive their miracles. She told me that both of them got pregnant few months later. She gave birth to a baby boy, and her friend also gave birth to a baby boy.

Now, how did it happen? I spoke by faith, they received it by faith, and heaven released their heart desires! It is as simple as that. You don’t have to engage in any unnecessary drama to gain access to your miracle. You don’t have to fall under anointing or run around, just believe!

Lets Consider How to Provoke Your Miracles.

1. Speak the Word of Faith

Words are seeds sown into the soil of the future, you will soon reap the harvest. Some of us speak empty words, that’s why your miracle has not manifested. Some people believe in their doctors more than God and His Word. Some even know the date to expect their sickness.

Use the Bible in your conversation. Speak the Word. We are living in a Word planet. Everything on earth came from the spoken Word. The writer of the book of Hebrews puts it this way:

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:3.

God spoke words to bring the world into existence. Whatever God said came to be. You and I have the capacity to create the kind of world we want through faith.

Words are creative. Words are like electricity, and it can electrify whoever and whatever you speak to. Think of it, how do people get healed? By the spoken word! When you speak the word of God with faith, it will penetrate the person’s body and delete whatever infirmity that is dealing with him or her.

In Genesis 2:7, the phrase, “And man became a living soul,” is better translated, “A speaking spirit.” God created man in His own image with the capacity to speak and communicate.

A leading neurosurgeon said that the speech center in the brain exercises dominion over the whole central nervous system. He also stated that this is a recent discovery. The discovery reveals that you can cause different parts of the body to respond with stimuli to corresponding parts of the human brain.

However, when the speech center is stimulated, the entire central nervous system responds. This means that when anyone says, “I am weak,” the speech center sends out the message to the whole body to prepare to be weak. This must be the reason God said, “Let the weak say, I am strong,” Joel 3:10.

So, the speech center (Broca’s area and Wernicke’s area) in the brain controls the nervous system. If you wake up in the morning and say something like, “It’s like I’m about to have malaria today,” the language center will send signals to your nerves to deliver your request.

So, mind what you say. Your words can preserve or kill you. That’s why you should be very careful what you say to your children. How can you say to your child that he is mad? Or say to your daughter, “From the way you’re behaving, you will definitely end up as a prostitute?” You’re indirectly ordaining them to become exactly what you’re saying because words are seeds.

Actually, James 3 makes it clear that the tongue controls not only the body, but also the destiny and quality of our lives. If you could find someone whose speech was perfectly true, you’d have a perfect person, in perfect control of life.

“A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything or destroy it!” James 3:2-5 (MSG).

This may seem to be a new discovery in medical science, but the Bible had revealed this fact thousands of years ago. Medical science is finally finding out what the Bible had certified to be true all along.

Peter said; “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.” 1 Peter 3:10.

The first thing a doctor does when examining you is to look at your tongue. When you go to God with a problem, the first thing He say is, “I see the problem. It’s written all over your tongue.”

The speech center is the dominion center of our lives. Our words will make or break us. Our words determine the boundaries of our lives. Our words can limit us or loose us. God gave Adam dominion in the beginning through the power of the spoken word and that has never changed for humanity.

The Lord Jesus, the Last Adam, said, “By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:37 (KJV).

Anytime God wants to change someone’s life, He touches their mouth. God changes lives through mouth-to-mouth resuscitation! He puts His Words in our mouth to bring life, salvation, and healing. When God wants to change a city or nation, He always touches someone’s mouth.

God touched Isaiah’s mouth with a coal of fire and sent him to speak words that would change a nation. Those words are still changing lives today, thousands of years later! God touched Jeremiah’s mouth and changed his life and a nation.

The list of people that God used to change a nation goes on and on, but the most important thing is that right now God is touching your mouth and changing your world.

Jesus said in Mark 11:23, “Whosoever shall say… believe those things which he saith…he shall have whatsoever he saith.” He said believe once. He said say, saith, saith, three times.

Kenneth Hagin said the Lord told him that he would have to do three times more teaching on the saying part than on the believing part or people wouldn’t get it. The speaking part is vital to faith. Faith is released or put to work by speaking. Again, if you are silent, you lose by default.

In Mark 11:23, Jesus used three different Greek words to explain the speaking part of faith…Order my book, Wonders of Faith to learn how to speak the word of faith and provoke your miracle. Call 08064143363.
